The projections are displaced from the flat image and given volume, turning representation into an object that exists in space. As these forms overlap, they read as bubbles layered, floating, and constantly re-edited by the viewer’s position. The work privileges perception over image, making seeing an active, spatial act rather than a passive one.

INSIGHT | The Ways We Saw [2023]

Exhibition design

Curatorial

IN-SIGHT was part of “The Ways We Saw,” a collective exhibition developed by the Exhibition and Space Design batch (2022), inspired by John Berger’s Ways of Seeing. The project examined perception beyond the visual, exploring how cultural context, discipline, and materiality influence the way we interpret form.

The installation focused on circular geometries as experiential devices, engaging light, texture, projection, and tactility to create a layered sensory environment. Rather than presenting objects as fixed entities, IN-SIGHT framed them as evolving interpretations shaped by individual perspective.

the exhibition was housed within a series of black cloth partitions. The space was semi open from above, allowing natural light to filter down emphasizing the contrast between shadow, form, and digital media.
